According to the Commission de la construction du Qu\u00e9bec (CCQ), 2025 is expected to record 211.5 million hours of work, a slight increase compared to the 210 million hours anticipated for 2024. <\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_heading title=&#8221;Growing Sectors: Residential and Industrial&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; title_level=&#8221;h3&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;][\/et_pb_heading][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The residential sector is showing a strong rebound, supported by falling mortgage rates and continued high demand for housing. A 7% growth is forecast, bringing total work hours to 38 million. This is excellent news for workers and for Quebec families aspiring to homeownership or affordable housing.  <\/li>\n<li>The industrial sector continues its momentum, with an impressive 14% increase, reaching 16.5 million work hours. However, the industry has shown the ability to attract 15,000 to 20,000 new workers each year to meet demand.
